Sieun is finally somewhat happy. After years of living under misery he finally has his closer. Sure he still suffers with the occasional nightmares about everything that happened but he finally can get some sleep.
It's all thanks to Suho.
Ever since the accident years prior, Suho has made a full recovery. He finished his physical therapy, despite his stubbornness -- and has picked up his old habits he had before he ended up in the coma. He has a permanent limp in his walk and gets the occasional pain there but it's much better than before.
Sieun is so proud of him, despite not showing it physically. He was always there for him from the start of his recovery to the end, silently cheering for him.
Him and Sieun even decided to give dating a try after months of pondering about their feelings for each other.
It's now been 6 years since Suho woke up from his coma and so much has changed since then.
Suho and Sieun now live together in an apartment. Sieun works as a therapist while Suho works with children at a martial arts studio. Opposite jobs, but it doesn't matter to them.
After 3 years of living together, they finally decided to adopt a child, a little girl named Rei. It was hard at first since they both had no clue what they we're doing, but they eventually adjusted. Now they're a family.
Sieun is the more stricter one with Rei, making sure she's safe and constantly concerned for her well-being. Meanwhile, Suho is the more carefree one with her. He gives Rei sweets before dinner and teaches her martial arts. Sieun doesn't comment on it, he thinks it's cute.
It's a colder Sunday morning. It's both their off-days from work. Sieun is up before Suho -- pushing him off his chest since Suho ends up rolling onto him when they sleep. Suho has never been a morning person, so like always, Sieun let's him be in bed.
He focuses his attention on Rei, getting the two-year-old ready for the day. She being quiet like always and not complaining. He slips on a new outfit for her with ease before lifting her off the changing table and into the kitchen.
Sieun would eventually place her in her high- chair in the kitchen, adjusting the straps with ease so she wouldn't tumble over. Since his school days, he's been the more productive one -- always up before Suho to do morning tasks or pretty much anything.
Sieun would cook breakfast, occasionally turning around to check on Rei. She was occupied with a few toys in her hands, talking to herself.
Eventually, Sieun heard familiar footsteps approach the kitchen. He'd look up for a second to meet his boyfriend's gaze, holding a small laugh at his awoken state.
"Morning" Sieun called out casually as he returned his attention back to cooking.
