In Mobius: Sonic was used to going solo whenever he wanted, or when he felt like his loyal companions shouldn't have to deal with Dr. Eggman shenanigans, nor anyone else who has the intentions of opening a path for harm's way to greet them with a false smile.

Sonic didn't expect such a robot that Dr. Eggman created, he considered the ginormous size, the loaded missiles, the backup weapons, Dr. Eggman's snarky remarks, even the humorous names that he would address them by. Sonic always expected those things, but what made it so unique? The robot proceeded to self-destruct after what Sonic thought, would be, his fulfilling victory. Sending him into oblivion from the impact as Dr. Eggman left without a trace.

He gained consciousness in a field of flowers as he lie awake on his back in a secluded part of Green Hills. Sonic sat upright as he rubs his head. Sonic took quite the damage himself; bruises, cuts, and faint blood trickling down his nose, but that didn't bother him at the moment. Especially from the adrenaline that managed to make its stay known for a little while longer.

The golden yellow of his quills slowly faded back into that iconic blue after previously going Super Sonic. Oddly enough, the Chaos Emeralds didn't get knocked out of him from such a mission. The midnight sky greets him as he takes in his surroundings. He survived? Sonic is stuck in a daze as a million thoughts ran through his mind: What if he woke his friends up to help him? Wouldn't they have experienced something just as 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥? Little did he know that someone remained far, but close behind.

The thoughts come to a stop as his emerald eyes land on you standing before him, another companion of his. His eyes widening as his pupils shrink in surprise, his cockiness subsiding briefly as he utters, his voice slightly drowsy. "What are you doing here, bud?.. It's not suitable for you to even be out this late." Sonic stands upon his feet as he comes to a realization. "You followed me, didn't you?"
