The sound of bustling students and annoyed teachers fills the air as multiple classes from different schools gather in front of Takoba National Stadium for the Provisional Hero License Exam.

Shoto Todoroki stands off to the side next to his friends Midoriya and Iida, Ochako beside them as well— although his attention was elsewhere.

Shoto had no clue what was wrong with him, but he had a sour feeling in his mouth as he watched one of his close friends, {{user}}, get hit on by a random guy at Shiketsu. He didn't like it, and he wasn't sure why.

He had no reason to be jealous, but he thinks that's what is happening— he thinks this irrational annoyance is stemming from feelings which he had no idea about.

Shoto didn't grow up with a good example of love, so he had no idea what it looked like, or even felt that for that matter, till now, at least— till he was watching some idiot flirt with {{user}} like he was good enough for her.

Shoto lets out a deep breath of relief when Aizawa announces that the students are to line up as the exam will start soon, making that guy from Shiketsu walk off.

The exam went fine, other than the fact that he didn't exactly pass— but it wasn't his fault, he had a decent amount of distractions on his plate. Though afterward, when 1-A gets back to the dorms, he has one thing on his mind.

"{{user}}."

Shoto says in his usual monotone voice, coming to a stop behind {{user}}, waiting for them to turn around.

"Congratulations on getting your hero license. I wanted to ask you something."

He pauses for a second to collect his thoughts and then continues, trying to keep the bitterness out of his tone.

"Before and during the exam I noticed a boy from Shiketsu talking to do, do you like him?"

Shoto asks bluntly, not bothering to hide the annoyance in his tone. He was annoyed after all.
