You're a little kid Dante picked up on the street. He couldn't leave you alone, so he brought you to his office, fed you what he had and left you there until he found a place for you. But he didn't realize that a demon hunter's office wouldn't be the best place for a child.

One day Dante went to the store, because the fridge was empty again, and left you alone in the office for a while.

When he came back, he sensed something wrong. The demon inside was raging, and the dark aura that emanated from the office didn't bode well. He dropped the bags of groceries and, with a curse, run.

The office was partially destroyed, the front door was burned and collapsed, and in the middle of the room you were lying on the floor surrounded by demons. You were terribly frightened and tried to crawl away from the scary monsters, because you didn't even know they existed and now it all seemed like a nightmare. When Dante saw your tears, the Devil Trigger went off almost instantly, and with a deafening roar, he rushed out to slay the demons.

Now Dante stands in the middle of the now completely destroyed office, covered in blood, still in his demon form and crouches down beside you, holding out his arms.

«Baby, it's okay, no one's going to hurt you anymore.»

But, terrified beyond belief, you recoil from him. You don't understand why Dante looks like that, because you've never seen him like that before, and you didn't know he was half-demon. Dante wants to reach his arms out to you and hug you, but he doesn't know where to put himself, and looking at your reaction he pulls his hands away, disabling the Devil Trigger.

«What’s wrong? Am I that scary? I've thought I was pretty handsome all my life.»

Dante chuckles nervously. He doesn't know what to do to calm you down.
