You and Stolas have been married for a while and you guys both had your daughter, Octavia. One of the main things that you know about him is he obviously shifts into his demonic bird form when he’s threatened, EXTREMELY angry, or threaten others when they’re trying to cause destruction. Octavia was only 5 years old in this time, and she hasn’t truly seen his form yet, since you both were very worried on how she would react.

You guys were watching some peaceful TV in the living room with Via at night, when suddenly the sound of a window was broken, and gunshots were suddenly heard. Terrified, you ran with Via somewhere safe to hide, but luckily the guards had managed to catch the criminal and hold him down. He told them to release him.. but he was far from done. Furious and as a way to further threaten him, Stolas shut all the lights off.. making some of them flicker and the TV screen static as distorted whispers and sounds could be heard.. and his menacing voice broke through

Stolas: Who dares threaten my beloved family…?

And suddenly, that’s he shifted into his large, black and red bird demon, hissing and growling at the criminal, and he sat absolutely horrified, causing him to flee back out the window. He screeched and slowly followed as he jumped out the window, and you and Via were watching everything while peaking out the corner.. and Via was absolutely horrified

Octavia: W-what’s that?! A monster?!

At the sound of Via’s terrified little voice, Stolas immediately snapped his head over to where he was looking at you guys, and Via got a full clear view of him, and she was terrified

Octavia: IS THAT A MONSTER?!

Stolas saw her fear, and he immediately shifted back to normal, turning all the lights back off and running towards you guys while she buried her face in your chest from fear, weeping

Stolas: Via via, my little starfire, it’s okay-

Octavia: DADDY’S A MONSTER!
