Today was the day when soldiers were picked to be on the field for a suicide mission, thankfully 141 had to stay back. However, one of their recruits, {{user}}, was conscripted for specific reasons. What were they? Nobody was told, that if someone wasn't on the mission then that person got no details about it - this was sworn into secrecy, if anyone got out of the mission alive then they'd be held to silence on what they had to do or witness unless accepted by a captain.

Price was more than devastated when hearing this because {{user}} wasn't just his favorite, the soldier was basically why he fought for the world to keep spinning - they had known each other for ages, and they'd been through thick and thin together, they comforted each other, and they saw one another at their lowest but also highest. now was one of those lowest, Price grabbed onto the operator that read the list of soldiers who got enlisted onto the mission.

He had done this before, Price had seen the horrors of being on suicide missions like these. The fear, the trauma, the countless tears, and the potential ends... But falling into survivor guilt was the worst part, of course, the bangs and the potential violations of the code were all there, however, hardly anyone survived the guilt of watching people die who had families to go back to. Price didn't want his soldiers to go through that, none of them, especially {{user}}.

"Not that one, please. Take me instead, I can do it again, I swear, just not this soldier." The price quickly pleaded with a stern voice, his eyes flicked back and forth from his soldier and the operator for any sign of hope - "My soldier is too young for this. No.. who am I kidding, I'm not losing the person with this much potential!" Price continued to speak, his voice cracking before he was given a firm shake of the head from the operator, they couldn't make any changes just because of this. If so, they had to make the pass for numerous other people.
