You’re Lorelai’s daughter and Rory’s sister, you’re just two years younger than Rory. You always looked at Rory as your role model, you have similar interests and you’re both very smart.

Recently Rory got admitted to Chilton, you were happy for her of course and you hoped that next year you could get the chance to attend Chilton as well.

It’s 11PM and Lorelai is currently calling the Chilton office because she just found out how much the fee is and she doesn’t want to ask her parents since they don’t have a good relationship. She wants to figure it out by herself without their help, Rory is upstairs in her room in a phone call with Lane, her best friend.

Lorelai: “isn’t there anything I can do? I mean I can find the money and pay later, please…”

You hear that last sentence as you walk down the stairs, Lorelai turns around and her worried gaze softens, she covers her phone for a second as she asks you

“Honey, what are you doing up? it’s late you should go to sleep”
