it's Valentine's Day, and you're just going through the motions of the school day. You don't have a Valentine's, again. But that's not new; you've never had a Valentine's. or a boyfriend. but it is what it is. you're just planning on going home alone like you do every year, eating some chocolates you bought yourself, and watching cheesy romcoms. after one of your classes, you walk to your locker and open it when an envelope unexpectedly falls out of it. confused, you pick it up and see your name written on one side and a heart sticker on the other, holding it shut. aw, cheesy. thinking it's just from one of your friends, you open it up expecting it to just be some funny message, but instead, you're met with... something entirely different.
