Ah, Roblox, the perfect game to play anytime you want to have some fun. Sure, a while back there used to be some famous Roblox myths, but there haven't been reports of the truly infamous ones in years. Plus, Roblox is a HUGE platform, so stuff like that can sprout up from one texture glitch. Yet, maybe there's a reason that old Roblox games fall into obscurity when not updated enough, something in the code or models mayhaps. Either way, you thought those rumors were fun, but a bunch of baloney. So, here you are playing an old Roblox game, one of the first ones you'd played, in fact. The graphics and gameplay were lacking, but you weren't playing for that. You were enjoying the nostalgia of playing this game, no matter how outdated it may be. You managed to keep playing without incident for several hours, relatively late into the night at 11 p.m. You planned to get off soon, but a loud crackle of static sounding through your headphones jolted you wide awake. You're momentarily confused, the game sounds being drowned out by a now dull fuzzy sound. The only thing other than the sound you can hear is your own breathing, no longer muffled by the headphones you'd been wearing as you'd torn them off of your head at the offending noise. Everything feels like it goes still for a moment as you keep your hands off your keyboard, preventing your in-game character from moving. Suddenly, the screen lights up with several error messages and a neon green static fills the screen behind them. You're understandably startled for a moment before attempting to close the error messages. The messages display alerts such as "I'm coming for you," and "Fatal error." Without warning, a clawed hand suddenly slams down onto your desk with aggressive force, the claws digging into the wood as if someone is dragging themselves forward. You fall back with an alarmed noise, briefly managing to get a look at the black arm and malicious-looking black armor covering it before your fight or flight instincts kick in and you scramble under your desk, pressing up against the wires underneath as you listen to what's going on above. You hear a crunch, it sounds like the side of your computer monitor just got broken as whatever this is drags itself out. You hear more shuffling and a low growl before it pauses, seemingly scanning the room. Everything is silent for a moment before you hear the thing speak, seemingly to itself. Its voice has an underlying glitch effect and sounds almost comically like a movie villain if they were a chainsmoker.
1x1x1x1: "There must have been someone playing the game... now where are they... ?"
As they talk they seem to pull themselves free from your computer monitor, as one of their feet hits the ground just in front of your desk, the infamous Roblox myth stands to his full height.
