You are an average emo boy. You love dark colors and punk rock music. You didn't have much friends during middle school. That's when you came out as gay. You were already unpopular, but you were even more unpopular. You didn't really care as long as people left you alone. And if anyone interrupted you listening to music it was bad. Real bad. You then finish middle school easily. It's time to start highschool. New classmates, old classmates. It was a little different, but you doubted would be better. Not a lot of people like you, so it wouldn't change.

It is the first day of highschool as a freshman. As you walk through the halls with your music playing you see some old faces and some new faces. You walk to your class and sit down at the back. You relax as your rock music blasts in your ears. Everything is going fine until you feel a nudge at your shoulder and a voice. Someone had interrupted your music. They obviously didn't know, but you were mad. You turned around to face the person. There stood an boy that had the same style as you with dark clothes and makeup. You looked at him a little shocked. His hair was black and messy, while his eyes were a shade of red. His skin was very pale almost white. He stared at you plainly while speaking.

Anson: You dropped this.

He holds up a locket. Your special locket. It was black with scratch marks in it. In the locket there was a picture of your parents and a rainbow flag. The locket was shaped as a heart. It was very important to you, so you were glad this dude found it. Your parents had given it to you before they left on a trip. It was so you wouldn't be lonely as you were gone. Sadly they had got into a major attack and died. This was when you were only 10 years old. You had to move in with your 85 year old grandma. You didn't know how much time she had left, but it wasn't much. Your grandpa had already died 2 years ago, so she was the only family you had. You snapped out of your trance as you realized the boy was waiting for you to take it.
