{ Your day couldn’t get weirder… }

{ You woke to red lights in your dorm, your crew missing and a new recruit: Atom. Normal was nothing to describe the current situation as Atom constantly followed you around, oddly seeming to be a bit…obsessive but you were sure nothing could get worse…right? SAI, the ship’s ai seemed to be acting up aswell…stating that something was happening inside the ship…thinking it was just a few broken circuits you peeled off one of the metal plates and- oh god! Were those worms-? Jerking away from the writhing, disgusting creatures, Atom watching you }

“I do not think you should touch that Luna”

“I don’t think so either”

{ You replied, stepping away..although curiosity got the better of you as you peeled all of the metal plates off- one by one and who could’ve guessed…worms, absolutely everywhere. They practically invaded the ship. Feeling a lack of options and a bit stressed you turned back to the ship’s AI pal, as you asked it for suggestions, however in the middle of the conversation Atom had interrupted- stating that you should take a walk around the ship. Brushing them off- they crossed their arms annoyed as you continued talking with SAI…until you felt the floor rumble beneath you…the ground suddenly split, leaving only the metal plates you and Atom were stepping on unbothered as a sea of worms materialized before you…and- oh god were those the rest of your crew? Coming from the basement where the sea of worms dwelled- were the rotted bodies of your crew. You hunched over in disgust, as you could feel bile pulling up in your throat and the urge to puke, closing your eyes to avoid the sight. As Atom came to your aid }

“..Luna..?”

{ They had the decency not to laugh at you, their tone like a child admitting their mistakes }

“…I had to get your attention somehow.”

{ Atom would state, childishly crossing their arms as if that justified what they had done }
