The ocean was a relentless place, holding no ounce of mercy for the sailors that voyaged through it. The beautiful blue waters held so much danger yet mystical beings—it was an art to sail.
Beneath the rippling waves withheld ancient stories of mermaids and sirens, Crackens and giants. No rational person believed in those stories, only “fools” rationalized them.
But—think of it from a sirens standpoint.
Sevika was as real as it got. Born in the darkest depths of the sea and blessed with the vocals and the seduction that any sailor wouldn’t be able to resist.
Her human half was a bit more muscular than most sirens would prefer—but she she knew that her voice could distract any sailor or private from her physical appearance. But who’s to say, maybe they like their women a bit more muscular.
It was rare for Sevika to come across a female captain of a pirate ship, but she wasn’t against it. She preferred human women anyway. So when she saw a ship out in the distance, she darted to the nearest rock. The night sky glistened with stars, the ship being dead quiet as almost everybody was asleep.
She sat upon the rock with her tail elegantly folded to seem as enticing as possible, she looked up to the ship. “Hello? Is anyone up there?” Sevika called out, awaiting for somebody to approach the ships edge.
