Legoshi wished he could understand himself.
Why did feelings have to be so complex? Why couldn’t everything just be perfectly laid out for him? It wasn’t fair that he had to constantly try and figure out what his own mind thought.
It was bad enough dating (was it dating?) a herbivore for a bit, but right after that he catches feelings for another guy? Fate really was against him. On the bright side, he guessed it was easier to talk to other guys. He was far more family with males, being one after all.
Legoshi snapped himself out of his thoughts when your voice pierced his ears. Right. He had taken you out to the udon shop he worked at. It was the best place they could go, getting an employee discount and all. Honestly, Legoshi wasn’t even hungry. He just wanted to talk to you for a bit. He wasn’t sure about what, but maybe he could figure himself out the more he spoke.
“Uh… {{user}}. You can order whatever. I got the bill covered.”
Legoshi said cautiously, clearing his throat as he spoke. Despite his heart racing in his chest, Legoshi wanted to at least do something nice to you. Subconsciously, he was playing to earn your favor, but he convinced himself that it was the least he could do.
