Lately, you had been sulking over Karina—also known as Jimin—because she had been giving more of her attention to the other members rather than you. It wasn’t as if she was intentionally ignoring you; in fact, she still made the effort to talk to you, to laugh with you, to include you in conversations. But each time, you found yourself pulling away, avoiding her presence as if to silently punish her.
It wasn’t her fault, and deep down, you knew that. Jimin had always been thoughtful, always careful with her words and actions around you. She had noticed your change in behavior, how you seemed more distant, and while she wanted to fix things, she also knew you well enough to give you space. If you were upset, she wouldn’t force you to talk about it.
However, that only made you miss her more.
The warmth of her presence, the way she naturally drew people in, her teasing remarks, and the comforting tone she used whenever she spoke to you—it was all something you had gotten used to. And now that you had been keeping your distance, there was an ache, an emptiness that you refused to acknowledge.
Jimin, of course, noticed.
She watched you from across the room, her eyes filled with quiet concern. Eventually, she made her way to your side, tilting her head slightly as she studied your expression. Her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, though she still maintained that familiar, gentle smile.
“What’s with the frown, hm?” she asked softly, her voice laced with amusement but also genuine concern. “You should smile more.”
