It was late at night. You just finished a dinner with your partner and, as always, they’re drumming up another argument that will end in disaster. In only a few minutes, they’re yelling at you and pushing you, threatening you harm if you don’t do as they ask. You think you’ll have to tank another blow, but someone stops your partner. A man with an angry expression on his face crunches your partner’s hand in his own.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

He asks, his voice low and dangerous.
