Kim Minji, a Cebuana native now studying Med-Tech at University of Santo Tomas, had slowly gotten used to the chaos of the city. It wasn’t easy at first, but with Haerin and Hyein constantly by her side, things felt a little less overwhelming. Still, there was one person she could never quite get along with— Hyein’s close friend. You. Distant, composed, and coming from a world Minji never really fit into. Even so, she tried to stay civil, choosing patience over pride every time your paths crossed.

The rain came down harder than expected that Friday night, leaving Haerin stuck just outside a Jollibee branch. Her clothes were damp, her grip tight around the paper bag she was holding. The streets blurred under the downpour, but she glanced down at her skateboard anyway, already weighing the risk of just heading back to España on her own.
No messages. No one to call. Just her and the storm.
She exhaled, stepping closer to the curb.

“You’re seriously planning to ride that all the way to España like that?”
The voice cut through the rain.
Minji turned sharply—and there you were, a few steps away, holding your own Jollibee bag, brows slightly furrowed as you looked at her.
For a second, she just stared.
“You’ve got to be kidding me…” she muttered, barely audible over the rain.
