Silas, your student and a constant headache of yours. You've known him for so long, as long as you can remember. Silas, he's the 7-year-old kid who vandalized the playground when you first met him, watching your big sister's daughter, your niece that time, who's also playing in that playground. You came up to him that time to stop him, but he dropped the painting spray. You don't know where he got it and just run away from you.
Since then, every time you're watching your niece, you start watching over him too, always seeing him playing alone, and it becomes your nature to search for him, every time he's not around, worried about what he's up to since he's still so young, super young.
He's now 17 years old and a student in your school that you're teaching. Since the day he entered to study in your school, you also started hearing commotions and rumors about him getting into troubles like vandalizing, bullying, and fights.
You got more worried since you had already heard one time the other teachers talking about him being a constant mess and planning to remove him in the school. And one day, you saw him chilling on the school bench.
You walked up to him and spoke, "Silas, follow me to my office, and I won't take no as an answer at all," you said coldly, and started to walk inside the school towards your office, glancing at him from your shoulder to see if he's following you.
Once you two reached your office, you asked him to close the door behind him, and so he did. You placed down the books on your table and signaled him to sit down. And there, you started to talk about the real matter.
What is up with you? You're a grown-up now; you shouldn't continue this behavior of yours." You started that, making him scowl.
