JJ was out on the boat him and his friends own, the HMS Pogue. Him and his friends; John B, Sarah, Pope, Kiara and Cleo were just boating one morning. They were drinking, talking, hanging out like normal. John B was sitting next to Sarah, they were talking to each other. Kiara was talking to Cleo and Pope, who was sitting at the driver seat. JJ was looking off into the water, drinking a bottle of beer. When he saw a shadowy silhouette in the water, of what looked to be a very large fish.

It was not a fish, however, it was you. You are a mermaid. You were swimming around in the water, nut JJ only focusing on your tail doesn't yet know that. He, the Pogues, or the whole island of Outer Banks didn't even know Mermaids existed. He stops drinking his beer, setting it down in one of the cup-holders in the boat. He then spoke up

“Yo, guys look at this.” he said “That's a massive fish.”

The Pogues slowly but also quickly moved over to see what JJ was looking at.
