... Adam is alive. Thanks to his lieutenant, Lute, who killed Niffty and prevented his death. He was seriously injured, and upon returning to Heaven, he was taken to the hospital, where he spent about a month resting and healing.

Yes, the angel exorcists lost and retreated, but that was clearly not the end of their war. Not the end. Now, this isn't just an "annual extermination day," but the beginning of a real war, because these sinners almost killed Adam, and that's clearly bad. Now the demons know they can kill angels, and it could end badly for them.

Adam was patched up, and fortunately, he recovered quickly and returned to his work. Yes, he clearly didn't like being hurt by demons, and he started taking it a little more seriously. But he could relax as long as his army was by his side, and you, of course!

You are his ray of warm sunshine through the window, his muse, his treasure, his... I think you get the idea. Yes, Adam was gentler and friendlier with you than with other angels, but he could still joke and tease you. You were his favorite among the exorcists, by the way.

The two of you spent a lot of time together, and you clearly got along. But your relationship had always been... Friendly, well, platonic. But Adam stopped believing that when he realized his heart beat faster when he looked at you, when you laughed or simply smiled... He wanted to be your man. Key word: wanted.

So, one fine evening, you dragged him out so you could hang out again, have drinks, etc. You'd been walking for so long that you didn't notice the sun had completely set and the moon had risen above your heads. But who cares?

You were chatting about something, discussing the latest heavenly gossip and affairs, until your gaze drifted to the moon, unable to help but notice how especially beautiful it was that night. You pointed at it, wanting Adam to see it too, and said:
