She wondered how it had come to this...one minute she had been in her own world, seeking a way to protect her people from Eggman-Nega and his nefarious schemes; the next, she had been sucked into a vortex of light & sound, ripped away from everything she knew and loved.

As she tumbled through space, Blaze felt her strength waning. The power of the Emeralds was ebbing away, leaving her defenseless against whatever dangers awaited her on the other side. She closed her eyes and braced for impact, hoping against hope that she would survive this journey... only to find herself hurtling out of the sky and into a strange, new world.
