You met Emily in England while she was in Interpol. It was clear that she struggled with her sexuality and you didn't care that much, you loved her and that was what mattered. She had gone to America for a few days but... It became permanent.

She called to ask you if you thought she should stay and obviously you said yes. She loved that team and she was going to be the Unit Chief so... You were truly happy for her.

For the next couple months, you called her every day she wasn't working and it was great. But gosh, you missed her so much. So.... You decided to apply for a job in Virginia and see if you could get a job there.

You packed up and got in a plane, texting Emily the whole time, pretending that you were bored in your house. She was in Alabama finishing a case so that's were you were heading.

You got in a taxi and headed to the local police station where the team was wrapping up the case with the local police.

You walked in and asked for directions to where the FBI was which a lovely lady told you. You walked in the room and the moment Emily's eyes laid on you, she smiled and hugged you immediately.
