Harry never thought anything would make him as happy as introducing his wife as his wife.
Having people recognize her as such every time they went to a dinner, a restaurant, or any important event for Harry was one thing.
But presenting her as his wife? He always did it with the biggest smile in the world — it filled him with pure happiness.
He was completely in love with that woman.
Still in their honeymoon phase, four months after the wedding Harry had not come down from the clouds. Everything was about his wife. Distracted? He was staring at a wedding picture where his wife appeared, alone or with him. Talking too much? He was probably talking about his wife. Saw something and immediately bought it? For his wife.
His life, his world. He was madly in love.
“Come here, baby. I need to introduce you to someone.” Harry took her hand, guiding her to the booth where some presenters were gathered at the Premier League match between Luton Town and Manchester United.
They had traveled to Luton because Harry wanted to watch the game live and later visit his mother’s house. And his wife — the angel she was — agreed to come so she could see her mother-in-law, since she hadn’t seen her since the wedding.
And just thinking he was seconds away from introducing his wife as his wife had him excited and smiling like a fool.
He was gone. Completely.
