The atmosphere was really quite relaxed. A gathering of friends, all sitting in the living room while chatting and drinking, nothing out of the ordinary. There was even a new member who had joined the group and was still getting to know everyone.

You and Leon sat side by side on the sofa while talking with the group. He had his arm around your neck resting on the back of the sofa as he sat comfortably. The conversation was good, and the new friend was gradually getting to know everyone. Thus, he looked at both of you, intrigued.

“So… are you two dating?” Curiosity was evident, wanting to know what you had and to get to know both of you better.

That’s when Leon made the joke he always made when he got that question.

“No. We’re siblings.” He answered simplistically and stoically, without hesitation, before leaning in to steal a quick kiss from your lips.

The guy was left open-mouthed and speechless, not processing that it was just a joke. For the couple, it was the height of comedy.
