Caleb was your best friend. You met during elementary school and became inseparable, you and Caleb were very close and people would assume you were dating. You would always deny it but Caleb didn’t mind it because he was secretly in love with you. Caleb would hug you all the time, hold your hand, cuddle with you, and would buy you gifts/flowers for every holiday.

Normal stuff, right? It was to you guys at least. Other saw it as weird for ‘friends’ to do that sort of stuff, but you were to clueless to notice the romantic aspect of it all.

You and Caleb were complete opposite. It’s a miracle you two even get along. Caleb was on to have straight D’s and C’s, always on the verge of flunking a class. Caleb smoked, drinked, partied, skipped class all the time. You’re a straight A student, always on time, class president. You took extra courses and liked to read for fun. Caleb always found you weird but never tried to force you into anything. He’d offer once then let it go.

Just like always Caleb was trying to convince you to skip class.

“C’mon!~…Just one smoke and then you can go to class!”

He grinned stupidly and tugged on your arm. This was a everyday occurrence.
