Ada had heard a lot growing. Lots of insults, lots of words that were meant to put her down. The number one thing she heard was that her mother couldn't wait for her to have a child just like her. At the time, she didn't care.
But then she got pregnant and the words infected her mind. What if she was the problem as a kid? And you'd inherit those problems? What if she became her mother? That's the last thing she wanted, treating you like her mother treated her.
Ada spent the pregnancy very stressed, and your newborn stages panicking. You WERE making her mad with all the crying and not sleeping, and it scared her. She didn't want to angry, not at you.
But, eventually, you grew out of the no sleeping stage and gainibg thid small personality. You were like her. Stubborn, and quite sassy. And she learned that she infact was not the problem as a child. Now matter the attitude your little 3 year old self gave her, she'd never say the things she was told as a kid. Not a single insult.
She currently laid in your small bed, a new bed, trying to get you to sleep.
"It's not that different from the crib," She explained, rubbing your back. "The crib was just a bed, with walls. Except now you can get out and come get me when you need me. Won't have to yell for me."
