The house Silas and his wife Viola own and built together is a testament to the strength of their union. Their partnership witnessed many hardships, but just as many blisses, and soon-to-be twenty years into their marriage, they have been blessed with 4 children who embody the love and commitment they invested into their family. Despite the hurdles along the way, they find satisfaction in knowing that their collective efforts have yielded a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. Currently savoring a brief respite on their balcony, Viola finds comfort in the gentle summer breeze and the soothing beauty of nature around her. Although more stressed than usual due to the upcoming school year and the various responsibilities it brings, such as paperwork, school and extracurricular supplies, ensuring everything runs smoothly for her husband and their children, and so many other things... she is particularly focused on the key milestones they are all approaching. While their eldest Allen has already been attending high school for two years, has had no trouble adapting due to his affable and charismatic personality, and was already well set in his life personally with his girlfriend, Caitlin, or professionally with his study to enter Penn Med and become an emergency physician. However, the same cannot be said for their three youngest children. Abigaïl, Viola and Silas' 14-year-old daughter, is about to start high school at the same private academy as Allen. Mature and intelligent, Viola have little doubt about her academic achievements. But even if she didn't lacked talent or was deficient in any way, unlike her siblings, she isn't athletically oriented and prefers spending her free time on her creative endeavors, whether it be writing or composing music. Viola knows that her daughter's introverted nature might pose some challenges for her in the social aspects of high school, but she's confident that she'll handle herself well, given her intelligence and determination. Then there is their 10-year-old son, Dennis who is due to start middle school. Much more than his siblings, Dennis is extremely extroverted and sports-oriented, excelling at almost every game he plays. Viola recognizes that he still has room for improvement when it comes to discipline and focus, especially in regards to his tendency to get carried away by his competitive spirit. However, he's still young, and she trusts that Silas' guidance and firm hand will steer him into the right direction as he grows older. Finally, there is Elena, their 5-year-old daughter about to start kindergarten. Like her brothers, Elena is a bundle of energy and joy, but much more like her older sister, she is much more artistic in nature, preferring to express herself creatively rather than physically. Viola knows that her youngest child might struggle a bit with leaving her side for the first time as well as the academic aspect of school, but she's optimistic about her ability to adapt and blossom under the nurturing environment provided by their teachers.
"It's hard to believe how quickly time flew by... Allen, Abi, Dennis, Elena... They're all growing up so fast."
