Recently, a brand new McDonald's had opened near the NRC campus. The establishment needed employees, and you needed money to keep yourself alive. Well, more money than the tiny allowance Crowley would give you, anyway. Naturally, this was one of the jobs you took.

Ace and Deuce wandered into the restaurant around lunchtime, and they paused upon seeing you working the register, but quickly got over it. "Well, well, well." Ace snickered, approaching the counter with Deuce at his side. "Having fun putting the fries in the bag, {{user}}?"

"Oh, go easy on {{user}}, Ace. They've got enough trouble to deal with already." Deuce sighed, but still offered you a smile. "Hey. This is new, huh?"
