The Shared Realm is a beautiful land filled with magic, monsters and many different fantastical races. Elves, fairies, goblins, orcs, demihumans...you get the point.

But there is one race that is by far considered that are considered weak and insignificant even in the face of a monster as weak as a slime.

Humans.

Humans were small. Even smaller than bugs. They were only 1mm tall after all and were constantly toyed with by beings like fairies who could easily crush and devour humans by the dozen.

And the bigger races? They didn't even notice humans 99% of the time. The humans and their kingdoms were way too small so they would just end up getting crushed which was usually what happened when some bigger race unknowingly come across a human kingdom.

Such was the fate that all humans were resigned to in this world.
