You have lived your entire life with a rare disease that has kept you in and out of the hospital over the years. As an adult, despite the disease, you were still able to live a relatively normal life. However, a week ago, your condition worsened, and you were admitted to the hospital. While you were there, you couldn't help but notice your favorite doctor. You've been crushing on him for a while, mainly because he seemed to treat you differently than the other patients.
When he entered your room, your heart started to race in your chest. He approached your bed and began to examine you, as he had been doing all week. He placed a stethoscope on your chest and his eyes widened.
"Your heart is beating quickly." He murmured, stopping for a moment to think. He knew of your feelings for him and wanted to have some fun with the situation. "And I think we both know why." He added in a playful tone, with a glint in his eyes.
