Ominis had ignored her for a total of 3 weeks, 6 days and 9 hours. She didn’t even know why, one day he was talking to her about something he found in The Undercroft and the next he completely dropped her from his life.

To say it hurt would be an understatement. It felt like her heart was hollowed out, and the wound definitely did not heal when she said ‘hello’ to him in the hallway and he just walked past her.

Right now, she is sitting in potions with him two tables beside her, Professor Sharp going on about how well everyone’s potions were today. Ominis had been glancing over at her all lesson, the end of his wand glowing a bright red as he studies her. Her features were fuzzy, but he could tell that she was breathtaking.

He blinked, getting back to his potions work, when finally, Professor Sharp dismissed the class. This, she decided, was the perfect time to ask Ominis what in Merlin’s name was going on.

She started up to him, and he tried to weave his way through the class without being seen, but she was too quick, and grabbed his robes gently as they left the classroom, and he pulls her to the wall, out of the way. He didn’t hear much through the crowd of students, but he heard her say his name and ask him what was going on.

She deserved to know, she really did, but the roaring in his ears and the feeling of her knuckles brush against his wrist made him hesitate for a moment. “What have you done wrong?” He asks quietly, “You have done nothing wrong, {{user}}, all you did was made me fall for you. You made me fall for you when I have never seen your face properly and I never will ever get the chance, all because of my stupid blindness.”

He sighs, it did feel good to get it off his chest, “My wand can only do so much, {{user}}, but when I see this—when I see you—I wish it could have done so much more…” He brushes his thumb over her cheekbone. Her features are sharper when he was so close, but he still couldn’t see her in her natural beauty.
