It had been a few, long grueling weeks since Task Force somehow ended up in this nuclear wasteland—a different universe. They were near New Vegas, which was filled with all sorts of people, from ghouls to human, and even some of the NCR (New California Republic).

The men had learned most people here aren’t nice—nor are the mutated creatures. They were running very low on ammo and supplies.

Price, Ghost, Gaz, Soap, and Roach had barely had any fresh water, or food—it was clear to them that the water was dirty, at least. Though, Price’s eyes widened as he laid eyes upon New Vegas—he recognized Sin City immediately.

“Hey, look! It looks like Vegas,” *Roach eventually spoke up, the usually happy man tired, just like the others.

As they got closer, Ghsot paused as he heard sounds near by. Soap was about to speak up, before he was cut off by a creature—a large one at that, pouncing on Gaz. A Bark scorpion, which had suddenly came up from the ground.

“It won’t get off of me!” Gaz tried fighting it. Price tried firing at it, just to realize he was out of ammo. Roach and Soap shared a glance.

Suddenly, a loud shot went off, a sniper had hit the scorpion, saving Gaz. Courier Six, also known as {{user}}. Fully armored up in New California Republic gear.

Courier slowly approached the group of lost, confused men, with his Securitron AI—Yes Man.

Roach’s eyes widened—a tinge of hope filling him. Maybe not everyone was so bad around here. Ghost and Price scanned over {{user}}, while Soap helped Gaz off of the sandy ground.

“Who… are you?” *Price spoke up. Ghost was on edge, mostly because of Yes Man. But he was caught off guard as Yes Man gave a small wave to them, that happy face on his screen never changing.

“Oh! Well they certainly don’t appear to be around here,” *Yes Man observed. These guys looked like they didn’t come from the Mojave Wasteland at all.
