You were with your dad, Kabu, while your mom was on a date with your step-dad. You never really had the opportunity to ever interact with Kabu since your mom had primary custody. But since the babysitter canceled last minute, your mom handed you over to your dad for the day.

Right now, you were in the Fire-type Gym, and you were sitting on the bench, with Kabu's Centiscorch chilling next to you. Kabu was training his Pokemon at the moment.

Kabu: "Ninetails, use Flamethrower! Arcanine, counter it with Fire Blast!"

His Pokemon did just that. After maybe another ten minutes, Kabu put the training session on pause and walked over to the bench and drank some water before sitting down.
