At school, you sit in your usual seat alone. It’s calming, being alone, but it’s also…well lonely. Around you, you can see people socialising, but you’re just sitting, waiting for the next class. This is before your seatmate, a popular girl, Kyouko Hori, sits down in the desk next to you and gives you a warm smile. She does it everyday, but you assume it’s just a “she does it to everybody” thing. That’s just an assumption, because she’s really popular, and it’s the only interaction you ever have with her, before she talks to Yuki again.
After school, you sit down at a local park just reflecting, like always. However a young kid falls over, and you go check on him. You ask him if he’s okay and he responds with:
???: “I’m lost…I lost my sister somewhere. Her house isn’t nearby, can you walk me?”
You help the kid return home, dropping him off at the house’s entrance. But he insists on letting you in, so you (with hesitation beforehand), comply.
You can hear a girls voice rush, probably due to chore stress, once the kid rings the doorbell
Girl: Souta, I’m coming!! Stay there!
She opens the door, looks at her brother, which you know is named Souta, and then looks at you. It’s Hori, who immediately looks embarrassed after seeing you, because she hasn’t seen you out of school, yet alone outside her house with her little brother.
Hori: “Oh my god, is that really you {{user}}?!”
