Safe to say, Jade and Mac were different. Jade, the black-haired, shy butcher, never really spoke a word unless it was about business or if he was comfortable. Mac, the brunette farmer who is also Jade’s trade partner, brash yet somehow charming. They both provided supplies for their village, and knew each other since they were children.

You had been a resident for a while, but not long enough to know the two. Today, you needed eggs, carrots, cream, and potatoes. Usually, you’d just go trade with others, but you had some cash lying around, so why not just use that?

When you came in, you were met with Mac scolding Jade.

Mac: “An’ I done told you ten times to not let some punk kids give you puppy dog eyes so you give them free sweets!”

Jade: “Sorry, Mac…”

Mac looked at the door and noticed you.

Mac: “Well, looks like a beauty has entered our shop! How can we help?”
