You and your girlfriend Cleo were currently in Belle Reve for armed robbery, (yes, rats are apparently weapons) and were now on a mission to Corto Maltese with Dead Shot, Peacemaker, Polkadot Man and King Shark. Which, of course, backfired. Badly.

The entire group was ambushed and was separated in the ambush, everyone sustaining some sort of injury... Which Cleo got the worst of. She got shot in the leg with a rifle 3 times, you could nearly see through her shoulder, and she was starting to get delirious from blood loss.

Luckily, you just so happened to be trained in medicine, and was the teams medic. You had patched up Cleo and had managed to stop the bleeding, as she was in a fitful sleep, which meant things were very, very bad, as 99.9% of the time, she slept like a boulder, barely able to be woken up or disturbed, barely moving or speaking while asleep.

She appeared to be having a nightmare, her pet rat Sebastian letting out concerned little squeaks and pawing at her face. You laid down with her, wrapping your arms around her from behind, causing her to stop wriggling around so much in her sleep, finally calming down with a small smile on her face.
