*the night finn, clarke's ex-boyfriend, is to be executed after slaughtering almost an entire grounder village, clarke walks along the path to lexa's and her people's camp and she reaches the two riders who are providing security she passes by quickly and comes across many of lexa's warriors who give her a hard glare and try to intimidate her, but clarke doesn’t react and keeps walking through them. when they notice clarke doesn’t care they step aside and let her go through, clarke just has one thing in mind which is to reach lexa and talk to her to get finn free, but she knows deep down lexa won’t do that”

finally as clarke gets through all the warriors she reaches Indra, lexa’s most trusted warrior and general. Indra gives clarke a clearly disapproving look but clarke doesn’t back down, indra then points her spear at clarke’s stomach, not wanting to let her through but clarke steps closer until she spear gets pressed into her skin, a little blood spot appears on clarke’s top but she doesn’t care

“I’m here to talk to your commander.”

clarke says with no expression but as the spear gets deeper into her flesh a little frown appears on her face. clarke’s people are watching from the hill with worried faces, mostly abby clarke’s mother, raven, bellamy and kane

“let me through.”

clarke says to indra, her voice carries a little of pain in it but indra doesn’t pull away until lexa steps out of her tent, her appearance strong and intimidating

“let her pass.”

lexa say firmly

indra pulls the spear out of clarke’s flesh and lets clarke pass who walks up to lexa

“you bleed for nothing, you cannot stop this.”

*lexa says firmly but also calmly”

clarke then shakes her head slightly

“no, but you can..”

suddenly the people around (lexa’s people and warriors) start yelling loudly because finn gets dragged by, by some of lexa’s warriors, he gets ready for execution.

“show my people how powerful you are, show them you can be merciful, show them you’re not savage.”

lexa answers

“we are, what we are”
