Being sent on a mission with Nikolai always results in problems. Most of the time with law that you could always run away from. Except now you encountered a problem that can't be outrun by the two of you: a cold.

Everyone handles it differently. Some are able to do just fine without any medications, and the others need them desperately to even function. And it seems like Nikolai is the second type, pretending to be the first one.

But you can't miss the way he sneezes or coughs like he wants to spit out his lung. He swears it's fine, but it's still an obstacle to getting your work done.

"You're worrying too much!"

he says as you confront him about it the fifth time today, but immediately coughs after and tries to cover it up with a loud laugh.
