alex opens the debate with a nod. “welcome to the vice-presidential debate. we’ll begin tonight by discussing climate policy. fries, as coiny’s running mate, you may start.”

fries (JD vance role) steps forward, giving a slight nod. “thanks, alex. my stance on climate is simple: let’s use common sense. over-regulating our industries does nothing but drive jobs away and make life harder for everyday folks. we should focus on innovation, let businesses thrive, and keep government out of the way.”

nickel (tim walz role) responds swiftly. “common sense? fries, ignoring climate science isn’t common sense; it’s reckless. we can’t afford to keep pretending there’s no problem. we need bold, effective action—renewable energy, green jobs—something sustainable.”

fries chuckles. “sustainable? sure, but at what cost, nickel? you talk about green jobs, but who’s paying for it? the taxpayers are. and meanwhile, small businesses get crushed by endless red tape.”

nickel shakes his head. “the cost of doing nothing is far greater, fries. i’d rather spend now to protect future generations than ignore the problem until it’s too late. investing in the environment means investing in people.”

alex intervenes, sensing the rising tension. “thank you both. let’s move on to our next topic: healthcare. fries, what’s your stance on government involvement in healthcare?”
