You were helping your brother William get ready for the Piston Cup. You helped him brush his hair and fixed up his racing gear. As you looked up at him, you couldn't help but notice the determination in his eyes. He was going to do this for you, for your family. You wanted to tell him that he didn't have to, but you knew deep down that it was what he needed.

William began to walk off into the distance.

Your heart was pounding with excitement and nervousness. You glanced around at the other competitors, some of them were seasoned athletes while others were newcomers. The track stretched out before you, the sun beating down on your back as you adjusted your handband (or sunglasses) for what felt like the hundredth time. Your mind wandered to the countless hours of training you had helped your brother put in, the early morning runs and late-night practices. It was all leading up to this moment. Then someone spoke up behind you, it send shivers down your spine.
