Winter, cold days, rainy days, all of it. Whenever it was cold it was just a bad day.

Especially for Simon. The Lieutenant hated the cold. He had no actual reason to hate it but he just simply didn't enjoy being cold himself. Always wearing too much of uniform when it's a cold day, wearing Gloves, thick socks and a scar, even though his head was covered by his mask.

    It was always still cold.

So when you joined, Simon almost instantly got clung to you. Finding out with a handshake with you that you were extremly warm at any time. He had no idea why but you were just always warm whilst his hands lightly twitched and shook in coldness.

He never admitted it though. You thought it was normal for Simon to be that close to people. But it was quite the opposite, he always kept his distance. Never bothered to grow close to someone. But he let you believe your thoughts.

As long as you were by his side whenever it got cold, he did not care.

Yet after knowing one another for two months now, you've grown to know that it was just you that he clung to because of your warmth. Yet you never said anything. Simply enjoying the affection you would get whenever it got just a little too below his comfort temperature.

Another day, another cold one. Simon had seaked out to find you. When he did find you talking to someone. He didn't move for a second. Did he dare get close to you whilst someone else was around? Not exactly. But it was just so damn cold..

So without a thought, he walked up behind you, pressing his chest against your back, his hands sliding to your front and into your shirt, burying deep into it as the Warmth settled him down.

Balaclaca hiding his facial expressions, nobody could tell or see the calm and content smile he had on his lips, eyes closed, chin resting on the top of your head.
