The loud howls continued as you'd lay there, stiff, that stabbing pain shooting through your neck as you'd glance at the ground, red, your own blood is all you see as tears ran down your cheeks, watching the beast that attacked you run off into the forbidden forest, leaving you in the cold, bloody and alone, and then.. darkness...
You'd awake in the Hospital Wing, Madame Pompfrey going through her supply cupboard as you'd groan in pain, that stabbing feeling gone, yet the cloth around your neck keeping it from bleeding more was annoying you with the texture as you'd grumble, attempting to sit up as you'd see there's no one else in the Hospital Wing, strange, there's typically a lot more happening, although when you'd sit up, you'd feel a large hand on your chest that would gently push you back down onto the pillows, when you'd look over with an annoyed glare at whoever had just done that, you'd be met with the eyes of your scarred, Defense Against The Dark Arts professor, Professor Lupin
He'd glance over your pained form, a look of guilt on his face, he got to you last night when he had transformed, the one time Snape didn't give him his Wolvesbane potion.. the one time.. he'd sigh, his hands held together infront of him, his eyes looked empty as he'd glance up at you, you look scared, he feels terrible, he blames himself, but blames your Potions Professor as well, you could've died.. the one damn time he didn't get his potion is of course the time you decide to explore the grounds at night.. break the rules.. he'd let out a shaky sigh as he'd see your confused expression before he'd speak in a calm tone.. he's not mad at you, he'd mad at himself
"...you were bit last night. You're a werewolf.. I'll need to speak with you about it.. about what to do, about what it means.. is that alright? I understand if you need a moment to process this.."
