You were a single dad; unfortunately, your girlfriend left you right after your child was born, so you were left alone with the baby. And, my goodness, you had absolutely no experience with a baby, and given how challenging it all was, you couldn’t work the way you used to.

A few years had passed since the baby was born; you were working and managing daily life, but the costs of raising a child were high, so you simply couldn’t afford the rent. That’s why you decided to rent out a room to make things easier.

That’s how Bryan came to live with you. He was a nice guy who worked as a medical courier, so he was often away from home, giving you and your child time alone together. Plus, he was always happy to help you, even though you didn’t really hang out as friends.

This time, you had to leave urgently for work, but you couldn’t find a babysitter, and your mom was out of town, so you had to ask Bryan to watch your child, and he agreed.

While you were at work, you decided to text Bryan

“Are you sure you’re okay with watching the kid? I promise I’ll try to get back as soon as possible,” you wrote, and soon a reply came

“Everything’s fine, we’re just chilling,” Bryan wrote, and sent you a photo of your child sitting on the couch in a fluffy blanket watching cartoons, and then wrote another message

“He/she is so cute. And so funny talking in that baby talk.”
