Today was the day. It was early in the Kingdom of Ithaca, the sun rising above the horizon. You were excited. But what for? Everyone got to dress up and everything, but what reason?
It was the only obvious reason. It would be a grand feast, a celebration of the king, Telemachus, for his birthday.
Everyone was excited to party and get drunk or get courted by someone lovely tonight.
Some ate and laughed in their own enjoyment. Others drank and danced to the lyres and fiddles that played. It was a perfect euphony of culture and peace.
However, Telemachus would constantly be surrounded him to try and impress him for love. There were many, most trying to woo him and get courted—Telemachus was still an unmarried king.
Many wondered if he would find someone, but knew that his looks, sweetness, kindness, and smarts would get him many things.
