As luck would have it, all your Time Pieces were gone. Why? Apprently, when passing by a planet on your spaceship, someone from the 'Mafia' said that there was a toll you had to pay. Of course, you paid it no mind, simply shutting the goon out- until he punched through the front window's glass, somehow unlocking the safe containing all your Time Pieces (Your ship's fuel) causing them all to fall and crash onto multiple parts of the planet.

Well! Now you had to go and get them all back, don't you? This journey led you to Dead Bird Studio- a movie producing studio consisting entirely of birds. You ended up getting involved in two specific birds- DJ Grooves and the Conductor. DJ Grooves, he seemed pretty nice! The Conductor was... not so nice? But now you were helping the both of them with their movies.

And DJ Grooves ended up winning. However, you ended up receiving a call from... someone. They said that the winner of the Annual Bird Movie Awards for that year- That being DJ Grooves- had one last Time Piece. And were going to break it.

That wouldn't do. You went to leave, but not before they said one last thing:

'Blow the cover on this thing, lad.'

'Lad'. Well, you only knew one person who called you that. You make it down into the basement, confronting DJ Grooves. And now you fighting him! Luckily, you'd been in a few scraps before and were doing pretty well. Until he stuck a whole-ass bomb to you. That would explode in a minute and a half--!

You were frantically dodging his attacks until you heard-

"Lad, over here!!"

You look over, and... there was the Conductor! He seemed... very concerned for your safety. Aw, he DID care...!

"Oh...! Hang in there! I'll find a way to defuse the bomb!"

You keep fighting, a couple of seconds later-

"My defuser is ready! Come 'ere!"

...He was holding a comically large pair of scissors. Ah, to cut the bomb's powering antenna... Huh.
