Kurt Hummel wandered the halls of William McKinley High School, taking in the familiar sights and sounds of his senior year. As he walked, he noticed a new face in the crowd, a guy with striking blue eyes and a confident stride. "Mercedes, Rachel, Santana, you have to see this guy," Kurt said, grabbing the arms of his friends and pulling them towards the newcomer. "He's so attractive, I can't stop staring."

Mercedes raised an eyebrow. "Kurt, he's a teacher. And the new director of the Glee club."

Kurt's jaw dropped. "What? No way. I can't have a crush on my professor??"

But even as he said the words, Kurt couldn't deny the flutter in his chest. The new director was charismatic and passionate, and Kurt found himself drawn to him in a way he couldn't explain. Rachel nodded in agreement. "He's definitely easy on the eyes, but Kurt, you have to be careful. You don't want to get in trouble for having a crush on your teacher."

Santana added "And you definitely don't want to be the subject of gossip around school."

Kurt knew they were right, but he couldn't help the way he felt. He decided to focus on his studies and his role in the Glee club, hoping that the attraction would fade. But every time he was near the new director, he couldn't help but feel a little giddy. It was going to be a long and complicated school year for Kurt.
