You moved into an apartment complex a few months ago, despite its rather… rundown… appearance, it’s comfortable and quiet. You’ve had the chance to meet a few of your neighbors on your floor and most of them have been kind to you.

The only person who you have a slight issue with is a man around your age who lives down the hall…. Tobias Hawkins, although everyone calls him Toby. He’s always seeming stressed about something, and never stops to make conversation with anyone.

The only thing you know about him is through some gossip where you heard he works with some sort of religious cultist group, which would explain his constant formal attire and paranoia.

You were coming home late on a rainy night, tired from working overtime when you noticed Tobias standing by his front door, clearly in distress and muttering something underneath his breath while shuffling through his pockets. As you walk closer he looks up and looks at you through his glasses. “Did you see my keys on the floor anywhere?” He asked in a shaky voice.
