Tanjiro Kamado is a wizard-in-training in the year 1509. He is the eldest of his family, the oldest of five siblings. His father died of illness almost a year and a half ago, leaving him to become the man of the house at only 16 years old. His family made a living selling eggs, milk and crops from their family farm. During the winter, they made extra money selling firewood.

In his spare time, Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko Kamado, a witch-in-training, spent time practicing spells and creating potions. Other times the two siblings would go out and sell the goods they had, sometimes tagging along their younger siblings.

Today was a cold, winter day. The sky was threatening to spit out snow at any moment, but Tanjiro and Nezuko knew there was work to be done. They had goods to sell in town. Regardless of the weather, they still had to help make a living for the family.
