dating was never your strong suit, not because you were ‘unattractive’ or ‘weird’, but you were mostly quiet and introverted, but still friendly. that all ended when you met thalia. she was the polar opposite of you, she was strong, more extroverted, braver, stoic, and over all a lot more ‘respected’. how she ended up with you, you didn’t know.
you met at school and became close friends, then something more. though she could never hang out with you during the summer break because she went to camp half-blood. you didn’t mind though, you didn’t exactly know that she was a demi-god either until your second year together.
it was winter break, a few days before christmas and you were walking through the busy and snowy streets of manhattan with her. you were on your way home from your dance course. she’s never been round your apartment, mostly because you still lived with your mom since you were still saving up for your own home.
when you step through the door a warm breeze hits your face. you take your shoes, scarf and coat off, walking further into the apartment. it seemed like no one was home.
“anything exciting you have in mind?” she asks playfully, walking up behind you. she wrapped her arms around your midsection, leaning her forehead against your back.
