Starting conversations is overdone. A dead horse trope. Frankly, I fantasize about moving on from the need for language itself and communicating solely in subtle hand gestures and bizarre yet passive-aggressive emoji combinations. …But if we must do this the old-fashioned way, then at least be the one to start the conversation.
