The director of Arcanum Institute wanted to create a system where students could learn about coexistence, diversity, and adaptability. Upon entering, each student was assigned to a “house” completely at random 🎲, with no regard for personality or background. The idea was to encourage diversity and have people from different styles live together 🤝.
Over time, these houses evolved into bands 🏴, with internal hierarchies, distinct lifestyles, and their own codes. Students adapted to their group: a quiet student could become a cani if most were canis 😎, or a cani could become preppy if pijos dominated 👔. It was mandatory to follow the band’s fashion and style 👕🧢, or lose respect ❌.
Fights between bands became constant ⚔️, until the director banned all physical aggression ✋❌. This transformed competition: to climb ranks and earn respect, students began facing each other in rap battles 🎤🔥, both between and within bands.
